SYDNEY SALES Press Association’- By Telegraph-Copyright. , SYDNEY, February 8. At the wool sales 10,275 bales were offered and 9,075 sold, while 471 were disposed of privately. The market today was on" a par with yesterday. Skirtings, come-backs, and cross-breds were selling readily at firm prices. Competition was confined chiefly to Continental, Japanese, and Yorkshire sections. Greasy merino fleece sold to 2Ss for eleven bales from Adclong, and comeback sold to 28d for eleven bales from Coolac. The average price of wool for the first three days of.the week was £23 10s 5d a bale, or ’J9;5d per lb. ' ■
