[Contributed.] Last Saturday afternoon, in ideal weather, the Macandrew Bay Tennis Club held its annual match with the Otakau Tennis Club on the Macandrew Bay Courts. Mr W. Riddell welcomed the visitors. The following were the results of the games (Macandrew Bay names first) Ladies’ singles—Mrs Bloomfield beat Miss H. Russell ; Mrs Shurrock beat Miss M. Russell; Mrs Kellett beat Miss Watson; Mrs Challis heat Miss Douglas; Mrs Barton lost to Miss Watson; Miss Marrett lost to Mrs Laingsburv. Ladies’ doubles Mesdames Bloomfield and Shurrock beat Misses H. and M. Russell; Mesdames Kellett and Hellyer lost to Mrs Douglas and Miss Russell; Misses Macandrew and Marrett lost to Miss Russell and Mrs Laingsbnry ; Mesdames Challis and Barton beat Misses Russell and Keratai. Men’s singles R. Blair beat W. Geary; S. Taylor beat R. Portaki; H. Shurrock beat T. Keratai; S. Scott lost to B. Kaahu; W. Riddell lost to T. Tairoa. Mixed doubles— Mrs Blomfield and R. Blair beat Miss Russell and W. Geary; Mrs bhurrock and S. Taylor lost to Miss Bussell and R. Potaki; Mrs Kellett and S. _ Scott heat Miss Watson and T. Karetai; Mrs Hcllver and F. Shurrock beat Miss Douglas and T. Tairoa; Miss Macandrew and W. Riddell lost to Miss Russell and B. Kaahu; .Miss Challis and Barton lost to Mrs Laingsburv and Russell; Miss Marrett and S. Maylor heat Miss Kaahu and B. Kaahu. Men’s doubles—Blair and Taylor beat Gearv and Potaki; Riddell and Scott beat''Karetai and' Tairoa; Shurrock and Ingram lost to Kaahu and Russell. Total games: Macandrew Bay, 105. losets ; Otakou, 95. 9 sets, A return match is to be played at the Kaik in a fortnight’s time. Tuesday evening’s model yacht races resulted: —Third-class —Sea Queen 1. Dot 2. Sceond-class—Pilot 3, Mystic 2. First-class —Revenge 3. Leslie 2. Two local vachts. in Nancy and Leslie, also filled' first and second place in their race at the Port Chalmers regatta..
