FORESTERS

The fortnightly meeting of Court Enterprise was held in the court room, Oddfellows’ Hall, Stuart street, on Tuesday last, C.R. Bro. I. Miller presiding. A letter was received from a very old member now residing in Fiji wishing to be remembered to one and all. J.W. Bro. J. Patton reported on the visit to Court, Excelsior, and S.W. Bro. J. Day on the visit of the crib team to Court King Edward’s, Pride. One candidate was initiated by the C.R. I.P.C.R. Bro. J. Edwards took the second part, and the S.C.R % welcomed the new brother with the Foresters’ toast. The members and visitors were . entertained at a gramophone evening the instrument being lent by Bro. A. Robertson, of Court Epunie, Petone, and the records by Bros. R. Henderson and Brettoll. A very hearty vote of thanks was accorded Bro. Robertson for his kindness.
