This band has been a very good friend to the unemployed, assisting them by giving entertainments towards their funds, besides filling a large number of other charity engagements, and on this occasion has generously agreed to devote half the proceeds of the concert to the mayor’s relief depot, St. Kilda. The promoters look forward to a generous response from the public. If the weather is wet or inclement the entertainment will be held in the Coronation Hall, St. Kilda.
