POLICY TO PRESERVE BRITISH SHIPPING [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 6. The Hon. Alexander Shaw, chairman of the P. and O. Line, arrived by the Monowai to-day on a holiday visit to New Zealand. In an interview he urged the need tor a definite British shipping policy. This would bo the only way of preventing the process of decay which had set in so far as the British mercantile fleet was concerned.
