BT. ANDREW'S, PALMERSTON NORTH [Per United Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., February 1. At a meeting of the session of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church last evening, the resignation of the Rev. G. Brown was .received and accepted. It will be recalled that the General Assembly of the church- held a special meeting at Wellington, at'the end of last year;,when the differences between the Rev. Mr Brown and the office-bear-ers of the church were investigated, the Moderator being deputed to visit the church ’ with the object of reconciling, the minister and the officers, in which he was-unsuccessful.
