MAROUBRA CANOE ACCIDENT Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. 1 SYDNEY, January 29. (Received January 29, at 10 a.m.) The two youths' who were reported to have been drowned at Maroubra are alive. It appears that the canoe capsized and the boys righted it. When it capsized again the lads swam to the beach, pulling the canoe behind them. They reached the shore three hours after. They did not know that they had been reported as drowned. [A message received on Saturday stated that Anniversary Day drowning accidents totalled seven, including two youths when a canoe capsized off Maroubra.]
