(Received January 27. at 10.25 a.m.) Anniversary Day drowning accidents totalled seven, including two youths, who have not_ yet been identified, when a canoe capsized off Maroubra. Life savers had a busy day in assisting surfers who were caught in dangerous currents, which were running at most of the beaches. Sixty bathers were brought in at Manly.
