Lifeboat Institution'has laid down four hew motor lifeboats which will be ready for service late in the summer. The boats will each carry a crew of seven, with accommodation for thirty passengers, and will be stationed at Gromer (Norfolk), Maryport (Cumberland), Coveriback (Cornwall), and Flamborough (Yorkshire). At the present time there are 120 motor lifeboats, and fifty-four pullufjrand sailing lifeboats round the British and Irish coasts.
