STEADY RATES MAINTAINED LONDON, ! January 26. (Received January 27, at 12.5 p.m.) At the wool sales 11,170 bales were offered, including 4,214 from New Zealand. About 9,750 bales were sold. There was sustained Home and Continental . competition,, and apart from some withdrawals of inferior sorts steady rates were maintained. New Zealand greasy merinos, “ Tipua,” top, 19Jd ; average, 15 5- Bd.
