DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE * "No transactions were effected on ’Change ■ this morning, nor • were there any sales reported, whilo there were actually no alterations in the quotations. . The only banking, sellers were of New Zealands, which shares are showing a tendency to improve. Buyers of Nationals . and E.S. and A.’s remained firm. Quotations for tho remainder of stocks ; disclosed a preponderance of buyers, the only alterations being in Smith and Smith (pref.), for which 17s was offered. Mount Lyells were inclined to improve. New Zealand Breweries ; were asked for at 40s, but no' sellers quoted.. Okaritos,. King Solomons, Gillespie s Beach, and .Waitahus have improved during the last week, and were still firm todav. Following the return of 50oz from Bell-Kilgour, a slight improvement was re- ■ \ corded in these shares also. _ • .
