TUG-OF-WAR CONTEST

Particulars are advertised of what promises to be' the biggest 'tug-of-war contest ever staged in Dunedin. The contest will be held in the concert Chamber, Town Hall, on February 22, 23, and 24. There are three weights for girls’ teams, two weights for boys’ teams, and three weight* for men’s teams. There is,also a class for bands’ teams. In 'the. single and double pulls four weights in each are provided. The contest is under association rules, with two-life system. The proceeds are in aid of the City Tramways Band’s equipment fund. ,
