AUTUMN COLOURS Blu« skies seen between leaves of gold! A mirror of priestly dress, behold! The heavenly blue and the pure gold shine. Both then and now with teaching - divine. The blue doth divinity express, The gold an exalted Kingliness. O Autumn I in colours such as these, / [Wo see Christ in Glory among the :trees; The priest of old brought a nation’s prayers, [We also, burdened with varied cares, May trust Christ’s pleadings, as one ot old Interceded in robes of blue and gold. —William Olney, in the Farnham ‘Herald.’
