SUNDAY SERVICES

At First Church the Rev. L. A. North will conduct the services. The morning subject will be ‘ The Great Commandment,* evening ‘The.New Jerusalem.* At the evening service the soloist will be Mr'Allan Highet. Miss Pearh Westland, L.A.8., will be the organist. Mr L. F. F. Gunn, of Knox College, will conduct both services at Knox Church tomorrow. At the evening service liist Jean M‘Lay will sing ‘ Consider the Lilies of the Field.’ - , At- St. Stephen’s Church to-morrow the preacher forenoon and evening will be tbs Rev. Thomas Miller. The closing combined services between Trinity Methodist and Moray Place Congregational Churches will be held in the latter church to-morrow, the Rev. A. H. Wallace being the preacher both morning and evening. At the evening service Miss Evelyn Shepard will render a solo. The Rev. I. S. Williamson will conduct the morning service at the Methodist Central Mission,- and in the evening tha Rev. G. H. Goodman will take as his subject _ ‘ The Tremendous Lover.’ The Kaikorai Band will parade at the evening service. At the St. Kilda Methodist Church both services will be conducted by the Rev. Percy Paris. , The morning service at Dundas Street Methodist Church will be conducted by Mr Stevens, evening Mr Densem; . The Rev. E. S. Tuckwell will resume his ministry at the Hanover Street Baptist Church, conducting both services. At the Spiritualist Church, in the evening, an address will be given by Mr Joint M‘Ewan. - _ 1 ■ At the Theosophical Society Miss N. E, Ockenden will give her final lecture entitled ‘A New Year Message for the Unorthodox.* First Church of Christ Scientist will conduct services in Allbell Chambers, 154 Stuart street. The subject for the morning and evening services will be * Truth.* Mr George Wilson will be the preacher at York Place Hall in the evening. Mr« Wilson, who has spent many years with her husband in India, will give a missionary address on Wednesday evening.
