TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —“ Opoho ” deserves thanks for his letter on the above subject. Mongrels or curs that yelp for hours on end at night time are better out of the way, and I agree that if a good shot got busy round about the car terminus he could rid Opoho of several nuisances and allow the whole neighbourhood to sleep in peace. Certainly shooting would be better than poisoning, and would ensure that dogs would not bo destroyed in error.—l am, etc., Opoho 11. January 25.
