THE WHITE DRESS FOR THE DEBUTANTE
Many mothers, it appears, have a “ complex ” about their young {laughters wearing a white dress. Vainly tipi girls plead for pink or blue, even for black, but their desire remains ungratified. White has always' been the colour for debutantes, and white it must remain! And yet isn't it all rather a dreadful mistake? The white dress is the most difficult of all to “ carry off.” Only the really smart woman, we arc told by those who know, can wear it successfully.
