BREAD IN IRELAND

A NEW LOAF Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 18. It is understood that a conference of Irish Free State bakers considered _ a sample of a new loaf made from a mixture of wheat,' oats, and flour and expressed the opinion that if the mixture was used in April the price of the 41b loaf would advance by a lialf-penny. It is believed that by the end of the year the Free State will be milling all her internal flour requirements and that wheat will be imported from America to replace the imports of British flour.
