the November examinations conducted by the University of New Zealand the, name of Mr_ F. P. Evans was inadvertently omitted. Mr Evans passed his final LL.B. degree in conflict of laws.
The lit. Rev. Dr T. M. Fox, Bishop of the diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes, New, South Wales, will attend the celebrations in connection with the episcopal diamond jubilee of Archbishop Redwood next month. The Very Rev. Father J* Murphy, S.J., M.A., rector of Newman; College (within the Melbourne University), will represent the Jesuit' Fathers of Australia at the celebrations.
The Dean of Nelson, the Very Rev* H. J. Rayner, and Mrs Rayner were to leave Auckland to-day for England* His successor, the Yen. Archdeacon P* B. Haggitt, of Christchurch, will take' up his new duties at the end of this month.
A Press Association cable message from Suva states that the Governor, (Sir A. J. Fletcher) sailed this morning on an official business ’ visit to New. Zealand and Australia.
