AUSTRALIA'S EMBARGO QUESTION OF RELAXATION. PreM Association— By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY. January 16. Whether the present embargo on New Zealand apples and pears will be relaxed will depend largely on the views of the State Governments. The conference of fruit experts at Canberra last week reached no decision, but decided to aubmit reports to their respective Governments. The hope is expressed that some concrete decision will be arrived at by the various States in time for the visit to New Zealand shortly of the Minister of Commerce (Mr F. H. Stewart).
