WOOL MARKETS

MR DEVEREUX'S REPORT LONDON PRICES EXPECTED TO ADVANCE Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 14. (Received. January 15, at 9 a.m.) Mr W. P. Devereux (Australian wool growers’ representative) reports: “ All wool markets in Europe continue strong and active. The quantity available for the London sales is comparatively light. An advance of 16 per cent, to 20 per cent, is expected. Bradford tops advanced substantially owing to the buoyancy of the primary markets,’but prices are still below those of the relative raw material.”
