In the semi-ring) R. W. M'Creath (Gore) defeated G. Hart (Timaru) 26-18, 26-18, arid in the final Mrs Corbett (Dunedin) beat M'Creath, 17-26, 20-12, 20-1. Light rain fell in the second. game and a heavy downpour fell all through the third, M'Creath retiring in Mrs Corbett’s favour.
