(Received January 5, at 12.50 p.m.) Owing to the depression due to the decline in the English, French, and German markets for dairy produce, the Dutch Cattle Board has decided to slaughter 4,000, cattle weekly for a year in order to maintain the domestic price level. The slaughtered cattle will be tinned. Hie unemployed will be able to purchase 2Jlb for Is.
