The Newfoundland House of Assembly on Tuesday night approved of the recommendation that Newfoundland should return to tho status of a Crown colony until it was self-support-ing again. THE MINERAL DEPOSITS (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, November 28. Mr J. H. Thomas said it was understood that negotiations had taken place between the commercial interests concerned, which, it was hoped, would result in tho increased use of Newfoundland ore in the United Kingdom. He understood that the importation of this ore had recently been resumed after a considerable lapse of time.
