SWIMMING

FAST TIME RECORDED AUCKLAND, November 28. Competing at the Waitemata Swimming Club’s carnival to-night Miss Sylvia Grange won her heat of the 50 Yards Ladies’ Handicap in_ 28scc. This was an improvement of 2-ssec on the New Zealand and Australian record held by Miss Ena Stockley, but as it was registered in a handicap event it cannot be recognised as a record.
