THE DOLLAR LINE EVIDENCE BEFORE SENATE INQUIRY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON. November 28. (Received November 29, at 12.30 p.m.) Mr Dollar to-day identified ocean mail contracts compilations showing that the Dollar Companies made a total profit of 22,119,000 dollars on the operation of ships bought from the Government. Other records introduced showed that Mr R. Stanley Dollar receceived 5,305,000 dollars. Mr J. H. Dollar 3.748,000, Mr Herbert Fleishaacker 3,686,000, and another partner 1.951.000 dollars. [A previous message stated: With Mr 11. Stanley Dollar as a witness at the Senate’s ocean mail investigation to-day. it was disclosed that the ‘A 1 .- .v.val Line, with an initial of only 500 dollars, made profits totalling 7.401.000 dollars during the years from 1922 to 1930, beside profits of 5,090,000 by the Dollar Steamship Line, the parent concern, through the aid of the Government in financing the Dollar Lino. The companies still owe the United States Shipping Board 17,046,000 dollars in connection with ship purchases and construction loans.l
