N.Z. SURF ASSOCIATION
CANTERBURY DECIDES TO AFFILIATE [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, November 16. A step towards unity in surf life saving work in the dominion was taken last evening, when affiliation with the New Zealand Surf Association was unanimously decided on at a meeting of the Canterbury Association. Previously since the formation of the central body Canterbury has refused to join up, chiefly owing to the possibility of domination by the Royal Life Saving Society.
