In his address at the Harman trial Conigravo’s counsel said Conigrave wished to stand foursquare with Harman, to whom he left the details of the scheme, of which he still approved The Crown persisted in looking at the transactions witli the green eye of jealousy instead of using both eyes _to look at the whole picture, in which there was not the least trace of dishonesty. Pound’s counsel said his client relied on Harman’s greater knowledge and experience. Pound had been a silent director throughout, accepting what was told him and acting in what he believed was in the best interests of Hie shareholders. Tho trial was adjourned.
