NOTED ACTOR'S WIFE
MARRIED ON DEATHBED NEW YORK, November 2. Lou Chaney’s widow, who had been estranged from the famous actor for long before his death, herself died today. Realising a week ago that the end was near she persuaded an old friend, John Jeske, to marry her on her deathbed so as to prevent unfriendly relatives of her husband obtaining any of her wealth.
