SPEEDING UP THE AIR SERVICE Tress Association —By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, November 13. As an experiment to test the possibility of speeding up the regular service linking Europe and West Africa with South America by means of aeroplanes and fast packet boats the tripleengined Emerald air liner flew from Paris to Dakar and back in fifri- flying hours. The Emerald will shortly be placed in the Paris-London route, which she has already flown in a little over an hour.
