PROHIBITED WATERS

FISHING TRAWLER SEIZED STATEMENT BY ADMIRALTY. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, November 13. Referring to the trawler “ kidnapping” incident, the Admiralty states that the fishery protection gunboat Doon sighted the Fleetwood trawlers Lucida and Gweilliam off Barra Head, in waters that are prohibited because they are spawning grounds. No French trawler was concerned. The Doon fired blank charges and naval seamen hoarded the Lucida, which eluded pursuit, but to-day, after an all-night search, the Doon, with the captured Lucida, arrived at Larne. Both coaled and left for Campbelltown. There will bo proceedings later in the Scottish courts.
