Whatever else may'be said regarding ‘ .King Kong,’ and much will inevitably be said about the gjgantic 50ft ape which is the central figure of this magnificent production,, it is certain to be hailed as the technical achievement of the century. Jn some extraordinary manner the creators have endowed K.pijg, with life, so that he excites, not horror, but sympathy. There are thrilling scenes and terrible scenes ,ip this amazing picture. Nor is that all.
: The spectator is - taken -through- a primeval forest inhabited by dinosaurs, pterodactyls, and brontosauri, which move about'as though alive. Several battles between these creatures are seen. .Kong is “ alive,” and vital, and it does things that are not' only astounding, but which will be watched with breathless interest.
