Applicants will be selected from ‘ men with respect to whom the Small Farms Board is satisfied that their settlement on the land would tend to reduce unemployment, and who, in, the opinion of the board, are suitable for employment in rural, occupations.’ Local applications will be invited for settlers, and these will be selected by the representatives of the Small Farms Board, the Dnemploymcnt Board, and the Public Works Department.”
