CAR CONVERSION AND FRAUD
FOUR MONTHS' SENTENCE [Pee United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, November 13. Ernest Herbert Smith, aged 26, a bootmaker, who converted a car to Jus own use in Auckland, and obtained petrol for it at To Kuiti by fraud, was sentenced to-day to four months’ imprisonment. The police said Smith was observed in the missing car at Mangaweka, and a constable chased him sixty miles before catching him.
