PRISONER RECAPTURED
HEADING FOR QUEENSLAND Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, DARWIN, October 16. M'Grath was recaptured at Pino Creek, 146 miles from Darwin, when ho was attempting to get into Queensland. [A previous message read ns follows :—A young New Zealander, Joseph Vivian M'Grath, who escaped from Fanny Bay Gaol over a week ago, continues to elude the police in a mangrove swamp three miles away. Over fifty black trackers and other natives are searching, hut unemployed and sympathisers of M'Grath are said to ho helping him with surreptitious food supplies.]
