The public paid £43,000,000 last year for seats in cinemas in Great Britain. Of this £7,000,000 was entertainment tax, leaving £30,000,000 as bnx-olfico receipts. As the average price for admission was about 9cl, there were 960,000,000 admissions, or 18,500,000 a week.
