GOVERNMENT POLICY DEMANDED (From Oor Parliamentary Reporter. J WELLINGTON, September 22. The policy of the Government concerning advertising on the air was the subject of a question in the House -bis afternoon by Mr Jones, who asked the Hon. A. Hamilton whether it wa i intended to restrict or cancel the l ight of B class stations to bro: ’cast sponsored programmes, and if so, what were the for so doing. Ho asked when would such change take place. “At the present time,” said Mr Jones, “ these B class- stations have entered into contracts, some extending for twelve months, and it is essential that ample notice should he given to station owners of any intention to withdraw the privileges they now hold.”-
