PUBLIC NOTICES. DUNEDIN DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE BOARD. PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN. Notice is hereby given that the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board proposes, at a Special Meeting of the said Board, to be held at the Town Hall, Dunedin, on MONDAY, the 2nd day of October, 1953, at 7 o’clock p.m., to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to tho borrowing of the sum of One Hundred Thousand Pounds (£100,000) for the purposes of the Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act, 1900, and amendments thereof. A rate of lid in the pound (£) of the annual rateable value of all rateable property in the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage District will be struck as security for the loan. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called* upon to submit the same in writing to the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
