QUESTION OF HIGH COMMISSIONERSHIP (British Official Wireless.) Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, September 12. (Received September 13, at noon.) Referring to the reports that Mr Bruce will shortly become High Commissioner, Mr Bruce stated last night that the question of continuance of the arrangement under which he, as a member of the Federal Ministry of Australia, had been representing the Commonwealth in Britain, had been under discussion in view of the fact that the various matters he bad been handling in London necessitated his remaining away from Australia for an extended period. He added that no decision had yet been reached.
