RAVENSBOURNE METHODISTS

The fifty-third anniversary of the above church was held last Sunday, Rev. P. Cook taking the morning service and the Rev. W. E. Moore tha evening srevice.- Both were well attended. Last evening the annual social was held in the school hall. The Rev. W. E. Moore presided, being supported by the Rev. Mr Flower (Congregational Church) and the Rev. T. A, Pybus (superintendent of circuit). Tha mayor (Mr T. Harridge) sent an apology, and wished the church every success. Musical items were given by, Mesdames Cooper, Manley, Horsburgh, MTvor, Messrs Wheeler, Thornicroft, Trochon, and the choir. Supper was provided by the Ladies’ Guild, and a very enjoyable evening was brought to a close with the singing of the Doxology.
