SPRING FAIR
A ’Spring Fair was held yesterday in tho North-east Valley Methodist Sunday School Hall. Decorations were in spring colours, and a profusion of greens added to the attractiveness of tho hall. Refreshments were obtainable from a buffet, and hot pics in tho evening were in much demand. An original soft toy competition was won by Mrs Holmes’s “ Dismal Desmond.’ The stall-holders were:—Cakes, Mrs Thomson, Mrs Watts; work, Mrs Foot; art, Mr H. M'Ncc; buffet—Mrs Gillies, Mrs N. C. Gibbs; produce and flowers, Mrs W,. Hancock, Mrs Pond; “Ye Sweet Toothe,” Miss D. Hancock and B.C. girls; competition, Messrs W. Hanley and A. M'Noe.
