" BRITISH WEEK " IH FINLAND GESTURE OF FRIENDSHIP. (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, September 2. Tlio Prince of Wales and President Sviuhufvud, joint patrons of the “ British Week ” in Finland, which begins on Monday, have sent good wishes to the enterprise. The Prince says : “ This generous gesture of friendship by Finland is appreciated by British people, and the President expresses the belief that it will greatly increase the possibilities of successful trade development between the two countries.” The suggestion for a “British Week ” iii Finland was made from the Finnish side last spring during the visit to Helsingfors of a United Kingdom trade mission.
