TARIFF COMMISSION

DUNEDIN SITTINGS COMMENCE TO-MORROW The Tariff Commission will commence its Dunedin sittings in the jury room of the Law Courts building to-morrow, morning. Members of the commission are: Dr G. Craig (chairman), Professor B. E. Murphy, Mr J. B. Gow, and Mr G. A. Pascoe. The business to be dealt with to-mor-row will be regarding pianos, dried milk, men's hats, and imported timber. The commission will sit sufficiently long to hear the evidence that is to bo put before it, and it is therefore necessary that those proposing to give evidence should arrange to do so as early, as possible. At present it would ap-; pear that the Dunedin sittings will not last longer than a. .week.
