ALL PREPARATIONS FDR WAR SENSATIONAL STATEMENTS Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. STRASBOURG, September 3. (Received September 4, at 10 a.m.) The newspaper ‘ Dernieres Nouvelles ’ states;—“Germany is making tremendous efforts to equip herself for war, and could produce most of her requirements within six mouths. She has the advantage of having no out-of-date war material, and what she may produce will bo based on tho post-war experiences of other countries. This applies particularly to aircraft. Every chemical factory can bo converted to make asphyxiating gas, of which sufficient quantities can be produced in three months. Rifles and ammunition can bo manufactured sufficient for the initial requirements within six months, though it will take ten months to produce sufficient heavy artillery. The motorisation of field armies and supply columns has proceeded so far that in four months all war requirements would be available.”
