WEST TAIERI DEFENCE CLUB At the annual meeting of the above club there was a good attendance of members. The annual report showed the club to be in a fair financial position, and thanks were expressed to the various donors of trophies and to Mr D. Cameron for the use of his property as a range. The following office-bearers were duly elected:—President, A. T. Graham; deputy president, H. AA r . Brookes; secretary, D. G. Wyllie; treasurer, L. T. Hughes; committee—A. T. Graham, H. AA r . Brookes, D. 6. AVyllie, L. T. Hughes, and W. Irving. It was decided to open the season with a practice match on Saturday, September 16.
