An Irish lake, which according to tradition disappears for a brief period every hundred years, has justified its reputation. Lough Nasuil (County gligo), forty-five acres in extent and SOft deep, recently vanished with its 52,000,000 cubic feet of water. It reappeared on Monday night with a loud noise, when huge quantities of water burst forth. A man who was walking on the bed l of the lake was just able to run ashore when a new lake formed in a few minpte*. ;>JBJ
