WELCOME RAINS

(Received August 30, at 10 a.m.) Welcome rains fell in the southern half of the New South Wales wheat belt, also in most of the western division and particularly in some of tho far western districts, which have experienced severe drought conditions. With the advent of warm weather the sheep pastures should improve.
