Tfl-IiORHOW'S TROPHY MATCH The inter provincial match to-morrow, at the Caledonian Ground for the F.A. trophy between Auckland (the challengers) and Otago (the holders) has created much interest among , all sections of the sporting public, and if the two previous matches played here this season aye any criterion, a lively, and thrilling exhibition of Association football should be witnessed. In the last two seasons, since Otago has held the trophy, some fine football has been seen in Dunedin, which has enhanced the popularity of the game with the public, and as this will likely be the final match to decide the holders for the present season a large crowd is expected 'to witness the play. The Otago reps, are very keen to sustain their unbeaten record for this season, whilst Auckland is confident of doing better than last year, when the gam© , ended in a two-goal draw. The kick- j off will take place at 3, and the sports « queen, Mrs R. Hudson, has kindly consented to set the ball rolling. The Auckland players, under thei managership of Mr A. E. Backhouse, " arrived by the first express to-day and are accommodated at the Rugby Hotel.
