(Received August 12, at 10< a.m.) A deficiency of approximately £14,000 in the income tax returns of Sub-in-spector Joseph Campbell, of the Queensland Police Force, was alleged in the Summons Court, when the police magistrate fined Campbell £IOO for making a false return.
