SWINE FEVER,
An outbreak of swine fever two miles outside the area to which the previous outbreak was confined has been verified by the Department of Agriculture a mile or so: from iTaita Gorge. Ninetyseven pigs are affected, and their slaughter is being carried out.—Wellington Press Associaton.
