OTAGO’S OBJECTION [Per United Press Association.] CIiRISTCIiURCH, April 7. An .objection- by tho Otago Amateur Athletic Centre to tho action of the starter (Mr M. Lcadbetter) in disqualifying a competitor at the Now Zealand cliamifionships was discussed by tho Canterbury Centro. Mr Leadbotter said lie had adhered strictly to the rules of the New Zealand Association. The centre decided to write to Otago regretting the attitude it had taken up and asking a wilulrawal of the remarks reflecting on tho starter.
